InsideView.com – a must for business

Nov 22, 2008

As we approach the end of 2008, Insideview.com could be one of my top picks of the year. Based in San Francisco, CA, the first thing that you will immediately notice is the ability to navigate with ease the professional layout of the site.

The InsideView flagship product is SalesView. This brings together social data with enterprise-grade business search and intelligence capabilities to help sales teams automate and accelerate prospecting, engage with customers in a meaningful and collaborative way, and ultimately close more deals.
Through its unique ability to harvest relevant information from the social Web, it delivers customer data right into the familiar context of enterprise applications like sales force automation and CRM systems. SalesView automatically identifies relevant “trigger events”, key insights, and connections across both traditional business information sources (e.g. Hoovers, D&B, Reuters) and the social Web (e.g. Jigsaw, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn,Facebook).

This intelligence is delivered at the point of need, within native CRM mash-ups, where it is immediately actionable. The solutions can save valuable research time and allow sales and marketing professionals to call on the right prospects, at the right time, with the right message. Some examples of customer productivity gains attributed to SalesView include: reduced account research time by 30%; decreased lead qualification time by 200%; improved lead conversion by 400; and accelerated sales cycles by 15%.

Since its launch of SalesView in March 2008, the company has partnered with CRM applications Salesforce.com, Sugar CRM, Oracle CRM On Demand, Landslide Technologies and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. This allows users of those applications to easily deploy the SalesView solution within the framework of their existing programs, and bring the rich and unstructured data living on the social Web right to their fingertips.

One of the most impressive things for a “startup” is its ability to partner with big name corporations. It is truly impressive in less than 1 year the strides that InsideView.com has made. Bravo !!!!!!!!!!!!
