FocusOnStyle.com-An Old Friend Has A New Look

Here is a site that is not a “start-up” in the strictest terms. The extremely popular, FocusOnStyle.com has been online for 10 years, but now has a brand new look and design. The new site (currently in beta) provides a more dynamic user experience for its loyal and apparently growing user base.

FocusOnStyle.com is a site that’s devoted to style and delivers insightful tips in an effort to make fashion come easier to folks with fashion sense but who need a helping hand. The site does not confuse snobbery with style. It does not equate exclusivity or celebrity with fashion sense. The site is accessible in a manner that makes it all seem easy, which is really what having “great style” is all about.

The site’s founder and editor in chief Sharon Haver has been a fashion stylist and syndicated newspaper fashion ad-vice columnist for over 20 years. Her “Focus On Style” column started is a worldwide syndicated and news wire weekly column distributed by Scripps Howard News Service to FocusOnStyle.com, an independently operated online fashion, beauty, and style magazine that is in its 10th year online.

The column remains the anchor for the FocusOnStyle.com. As the resident fashion expert, Ms. Haver also writes StyleThing!, a heads-up on the latest style buzz and QuickFix, makeover style solutions. FocusOnStyle.com also features its satellite sites like FrontRowFashion.com- a photographic look of what’s shown on designer runways, StyleMaze.com- a style-based shopping mall portal for women, men, kids, and home, the recently launched, Style-Pack.com, a trend shopping site for the savvy consumer, and Fashion-Bulletin.com- a online fashion and beauty community forum, and message board.

The site also has a “Call My Stylist” section that provides answers, solutions and tips to a variety of pertinent questions such as “What is the appropriate dress length for an older woman?” and “What do I wear with a navy skirt?”
