It seems like, you might have more luck with books than with trying to piece things together from bits and pieces on websites – I possibly don’t know any books about Sumerian mythology, sorry, but searching your local library or alibris.com (because Amazon are crooks) might get you something that’ll give you a general idea of what archaeologists know about Sumer and its mythology, and give you somewhere to start…

I buy used books at alibris.com, but, apparently, they work with sellers (20 USD per annum).
I takes an investigation to check out those.

I collect first edition / first printings of rare science fiction from the 60s/70s/80s. I’ve found abebooks.com and alibris.com to both be excellent when trying to find obscure pieces.

Drive-by comment to recommend http://alibris.com as a great used book, music, dvd source.

Http://alibris.com is a clearing-house sort of site that thrift shops and second hand bookstores use to sell their stock. I’ve had very good service from the site over the past several years, replacing favourite VCR movies with DVD versions. Out of something like 200-odd titles, only two were a problem (one multi-disk title was missing a disk, and another was broken in transit). Both were dealt with promptly and…

It sounds like there’s some healing you need to do in regard to your relationships and the reason for acting “crazy” most likely comes from having an anxious attachment style. Therapy would probably be the most helpful route to take but I also know it’s not cheap to see a therapist so if you can’t afford one maybe start by reading The Power of Attachment by Diane Poole Heller. You can find inexpensive books at…

Impact Dynamics by Jonas Zukas. I saw 3 used copies on alibris.com at time of writing this comment. This book is out of print and is VERY good, particularly the first few chapters. It’s generally very to find for less than many hundreds of dollars.

Hmm, my go-to’s are alibris.com and abebooks.com (owned by Amazon now, tho) but neither have any used copies. Saw one or two online for $599-999 (?!) but you can’t be sure those are real. Clearly it is out of print and hard to find! You could try a library or local used bookstore. Though if it is indeed worth that much, it won’t be there either.

Ive watched AoT too many times and I want to collect the manga. Where can I get it for cheap? Ive found alibris.com which had new manga at half the price of Bookdepository and it was great until I realized that it all ships from the US and the shipping becomes 20-50 dollars. Any other sites for cheap manga that ship to EU(specifically Serbia).

If you look at the used bookstores online, it will be less expensive. I use abebooks.com and alibris.com all the time. I believe I got my hardcover copy for about $25.00.

Bookfinder.com to find used physical books. It aggregates results from sites like alibris.com, biblio.com, etc, and returns the price in your local currency, which includes delivery price to your country.

As for the “there is no subject” thing that people said about this photograph, well… Yes and no. This isn’t a street photograph. I can understand the inclination to call it street photography because it’s a photo you made out on the street. But as a genre, street photography is supremely about people. You can study the work of Robert Doisneau, Gary Winogrand, Elliott Erwitt and Diane Arbus to name a few (you can…

If you don’t mind borrowing books, try getting a library card and then you can use Overdrive and Hoopla to borrow ebooks and audio books online for free. I love it. If you want actual books, try alibris.com as well as ThriftBooks for used books. I’ve also had good luck with ebay but that’s hit or miss. Check for used book stores in your area. I have a couple that give you a credit toward more books when you trade…

A lot of these are out of print, so you may need to hit the used book market. Try sites like abebooks.com and alibris.com but be warned some volumes have gotten very very expensive. Also, when dealing with used books online always assume they are not necessarily in as good a condition as described.
