I know a coworker that uses clip studio.

Take it easy. You’ve got plenty of time. I’d ditch adobe animate, although it has its benefits, and check out something like https://animationpaper.com/ and pick up Richard Williams animation survival kit and you’ll be set for a while. And for a 2D animation program I HIGHLY. RECOMMEND. Animation Paper. It’s a lightweight, unintrusive program that’s simple to use and has all the key necessities for 2D animation. Very straightforward UI without a glut of bells, whistles, and hoops that you’ll see in other software that are 2D art programs first.

And also, I animate in a program called animation paper and am using the pre-release so it’s not fully functioning and I can’t export it as an mp4 or movie file, only individual frames so I’m using a ‘frames to gif website’ which allows me to customize the speed of the animation and the only options are milliseconds. I was confused at first as well but I just tried it out. I wish I could use FPS instead but this…
