Orders from bestbuy.com for pick up are sent to the store for someone to physically find scan and associate with your order. The website uses the store inventory system to know if it has stock or not sometimes they have it but if it fell somewhere hard to find , or was stolen,etc… They wont be able to find it and should be able to cancel the order. Hello, over this past year I’ve had issues with Best Buy logging me out and forceing me to reset my password. It does it on bestbuy.com as well as the mobile best buy app. I don’t know what it causing this but sometimes its back to back in the same day. Don’t call, the people on the phone are not physically in the store to verify. Your best bet is to go to bestbuy.com, choose the store you want to contact, then there should be an option to email. That will email the store leadership and they can verify for you. Well good news is, I use Google.com, not Google.ca. Easy way out of this. Since most of the websites out there are .com and American, it ain’t an issue. In fact, I envy the Americans who can use .com such as bestbuy.com or walmart.com to represent them instead of .us whereas for Canada and the rest of the world have to use .ca to explicitly state it’s Canadian to avoid ambiguity.

This is probably not news to many, but if you click the cancel button on digital subscriptions they will frequently give you significant discounts to not cancel. Panera Sip Club will drop it to $6 for three months, Max will go to 4.95. If you use any of the apple services (music/news/tv) cancel your subscription and there are free 3-4 month deals you can get on bestbuy.com for returning members.

The employees tried forwarding the email receipts to 3 different emails and nothing. At this point I think the issue is on their end, not with my email. I went to bestbuy.com and verified my email, received confirmation immediately. Today I talked to customer service on the phone and they said there’s nothing I can do and suggested I go talk to them in person.

I notice that while traveling, and my computer is connected to WiFi at my destination, the timezone/time changes on my laptop. Yet no emails from bestbuy.com come through. Same for delta.com – email receipt to myself, it never makes it. Send it to regular @gmail.com (gets forwarded to custom.com) and it comes through. Chase constantly sends me emails about payments, statements, etc. Yet one in 3 months I get snail mail that email as returned as non-deliverable and it needs to be fixed.
