I tried to exchange 9400 DAI for XMR. It wouldn’t tell me in the terms which exchange it would use or anything really. After I initiated the exchange, it moved from confirming to confirmed and then back to confirming until I had 500+ confirmations. I contacted Coinomi and got no response at all. This is only because of incompetent services that are requiring ridiculous amounts of confirmations. Could be due to propaganda or they don’t like BSV, other reasons. I would suggest https://changelly.com/ they say swaps can take up to 6 hours which seems better than most places.

I have 3 ways around this problem. Firstly, use services like changelly, depending on where you live you won’t need any ID to use their service and all you will need as a debit card. Secondly, Crypto ATM’s. Again depending on where you live some crypto ATM’s will not need ID. Finally, get your parents to buy it for you or sign up to an exchange for you.

You message the scammer and they explain to you (in broken English) how cryptocurrencies work. They then ask you to visit changelly.com and to submit $500 to a specific Bitcoin wallet, and of course they claim they’ll invest it and grow it for you. All lies.
