In my experience, most big mass-market registrars are somewhat lacking in their DNS configurability. I’ve been using DNS Made Easy for many years as a registrar-independent way to get better management and fine-grained control of my DNS setup.

Anyone looking to change today, I use this service – https://dnsmadeeasy.com/. Dumb name, but they have a very long history of extremely reliable service for a very cheap price.

I think DNS Made Easy might be able to do this. They have documentation that seems to fit the bill anyways. Looking at that page I suspect they may not support IXFR, but I haven’t evaluated them yet so can’t say for sure. I’ll probably be speaking to them soon.

If you want the best managed DNS, you could pick up an account at DNS Made Easy, but you could certainly use your GoDaddy account, your Sucuri account (possibly the same thing; I don’t know, but u/dnsmayhem might), or any other DNS service.

Constellix is a great product but I do not believe you can send RFC dynamic updates to them or anyone on your list. With some providers, you can send RFC compliant NOTIFY and then they will perform the IXFR / AXFR from you. I know Akamai and DNS Made Easy (the creators of Constellix) as well as many others have options like that.
