I use a dual-monitor configuration on Windows 11, and one of the things that drive me crazy is the mouse cursor ending up on the other screen, I hate this. So, after some research, I discovered this app: Dual Monitor Tools ( https://dualmonitortool.sourceforge.net/) .

I see. The short answer is no. Windows does not have that functionality. You can use a third party app, either Dual Monitor Tools (http://dualmonitortool.sourceforge.net/) or the Cursor Lock app (https://www.snakebytestudios.com/projects/apps/cursor-lock/). People at my office use Dual Monitor Tools and it works fine.

This actually worked fine in W11 (exactly the same as in W10), but they botched it with some update not long ago. I had to go back to using Wallpaper Engine, but there are probably similar free tools like that. I’ve seen this mentioned in another reddit post.

There seem to be software solutions that lock your cursor. A couple of them were suggested in this thread: namely Dual Monitor Tool and CursorLock. There is also FullscreenLock. However, I have not used any of them personally so I cannot attest their effectiveness.

You will always have a problem with multiple monitors, my solution is DMT. I installed mine, bind some keys to monitor swapping, toggle it on any persistence windows and force them to swap the monitor.

I’m not sure what solution you are looking for, since you didn’t clearly state the problem. I’m going to assume to want different wallpapers on each monitor? If so, I recommend Dual Monitor Tools.

Sometimes I accidentally make my game windowed, so make sure it’s full screen. If you use double movement, use keys2x bc it has a fix built it for it, otherwise download Dual Monitor Tools and you’ll be able to lock your mouse to the correct screen.

Are you using double movement? Wooting specifically has this problem, and you need to use Dual Monitor Tools to fix it. (DMT will also work to solve it even if you aren’t using double movement bc it locks your mouse to one monitor).

Mine broke when I started using wooting for double movement. Keys2X is better bc its built in to prevent that from happening, but before I switched to them, I used Dual Monitor Tools to lock my cursor to one monitor while playing.
