I’ve tried it with various sites (espn.com, cnn.com etc) and all give me various errors (404 etc) but I can connect if I type the domain name in. Any idea why this is happening ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I work for a major library system that has very weird issues with our public Wi-Fi network. When users want to sign on to our network, instead of being taken to the sign on screen, they have to go to an authenticating website like aol.com or espn.com. You know what, I’ll go one more round, maybe you’ll have an open mind. Apart from the wealth of PFF data/rankings, the film breakdowns you can google (Chris Simms and Kurt Warner both have pretty good breakdowns on how to read a defense from the QBs perspective), and well, literally every single deep passer ranking you can find on NFL.com, espn.com, r/nfl.

For instance, I have a weather folder in my bookmarks. It has like 20 links in it which takes up the whole sidebar basically. I want to check out some weather models. Then, say I want to view espn.com. I now have to go to a different space and open espn.com? Seems…odd.

Went to my bookmarked espn.com and it comes up with espn.co.uk. I get a pop up that says I’m on the UK version, and if I want the US version ‘click here.’.

Ads.txt is a way to determine if the website is legit and who is authorized to sell that inventory. There used to be a spoofing fraud tactic where a site would pretend to be another site. So for example, you might have espn.com on an inclusion list, and it reports that your impression was on espn.com but it was really on fraudsite.com.

I was always of the opinion he got lucky to be plucked by espn.com, the “everyman writer” era began, and then the red sox winning catapulted him into stardom. That was a combo of luck, hard work, and kind of seeing what sports fans wanted. That’s also many successful people.

The web hit when I was in college. First browser I was on was in ’93(?) – I think Yahoo was the first site I really remember going to. I was a time waste in the beginning – was a while before espn.com would let you check the score of games. Think I spent a lot of time on online newspapers if I remember.

I think they’re going to have a problem here. The Fanduel rules say that all stats are resolved as per the appropriate site’s info,in this case ncaa.com. But ncaa.com doesn’t have a play-by-play with times. Now, on the Kenneshaw game, espn.com has it at 17:00 on the dot, but cbssports.com had it at 16:58. And it took them forever to grade it (in fact, I think they declared the Vermont one a NO before they did…
