I use it regularly after I finish a session or am about to install something notable and want to preserve my work up to then. I use a hot key manager called Executor. Make sure you install it from the developer’s website.

Download a hotkey manager and you can setup hotkeys to do various things. It’s much easier to keep track of them than trying to do it with shortcut properties. I use Executor..

Yea before I switched to PopOS due to the Windows 11 online account/edge browser fiasco I used the launcher “Executor[0]”. Just after reading this post, I tested a program I downloaded to replace the Windows Run, turns out it’s also a full App launcher, I really recommend it to anyone reading this.

I used it a lot at college when I was forced into using DAISY books, being able to wildcard select just the mp3’s in a folder without having to go through the whole view, sort by, type, then find them and faff around was useful.
