Look into some online tools for managing feature request and handing bug reports. https://featureupvote.com/ is a decent option. They shouldn’t always do what the community asks for but they can use this as a means to understand the biggest pain points and can design and pitch solutions to the community.

I found some proprietary and non-selfhosted softwares, like https://www.useresponse.com/feature-request-tracker, and https://featureupvote.com/, but no OSS/selfhosted :'(.

Though most everything is just “under consideration” on featureupvote.com it would be nice to have a true road map for things that are actually coming. Game changers and not just swimming pools.
