Tip for buying fonts legally: get familiar with the big font marketplaces like MyFonts.com, Fonts.com, Fontspring.com, and CreativeMarket.com. When you search Google for a font, i.e. “beynkales font”, most of the results will be pirate sites, so just scroll down until you find a link to one of the font marketplaces you know. In this case, I see a fonts.com link in the 9th result, but the rest of the first 10…

Thanks for that, I am indeed using a font (InconsolataLGC) from nerd fonts.com, however I’m using Kitty terminal to live patch the additional codeicons set in. This worked yesterday, and what I changed was upgrading both nvim and Kitty.

If yes, it is basically the same as MyFonts or fonts.com because they all belong to Monotype and sell the same set of fonts.

When I start searching for this font I do get one source where I can download at least one weight, but when I try and download some of the others it goes to a 404 on fonts.com.

I had a similar issue recently with a single weight of a font purchased from fonts.com. Interestingly the other font weights were fine. Anyhow, I managed to fix it following the FontForge instructions here – https://stackoverflow.com/a/58782662.

Hey, yes, I also use Scrivener and have this issue with Lucida Grande—I have bold and underline, but no italics. Like /u/beckdawg19 said, you could use some other symbol to denote italics and then convert them later. I really dont like the new color or font. The font looks like it was downloaded from fonts.com or that generic fonts page, It doesnt demostrate effort in the logo. About the burble, the purple that discord had before was easier on the eyes. The new purple its like more intense and its harder on the eyes.
