Khan Academy – Best resource for maths. Although it is not necessary to know subjects like linear algebra to slap together some code to make stuff work, it is necessary to know in order to understand how to slap it together and why it works.

Take an intro course in computer science (many people recommend the CS50 course from Harvard). The hard thing here, which led me down a rabbit hole, is actually choosing a programming language and I would say don’t worry too much about that, you can look up some use cases for a specific language and choose the one that would align with projects you would like to make in the future. Start with learning html and css, after that I would recommend learning the basics of programming with javascript or python. You can look up different fields where the language is prevalent and decide which one you want to learn. This site is sorta an aggregator for programming courses & tutorials. You can find a tutorial for anything you wanna learn, most tutorials linked on this site are free but there are some exceptions.
