For your examples given, I use Hemingway Editor to cut down on my adverbs. Adverbs aren’t bad, but I want a stronger punch with my writing and cutting down on adverbs helps (for me). It forces me to expand on the action. Passive voice is one I need to work on, personally. Cut them down, along with adverbs, I think, helps your writing a great deal.

Use every tool available to check your writing. Tools like Grammarly and hemingwayapp.com can only improve your writing. For shorter pieces, try printing them out and voicing them (to yourself) to check for errors. (Old school, but it still works for me.).

A free equivalent of Grammarly that I use is hemingwayapp.com. OP, you can chuck a paragraph or two in there and it will instantly highlight any sentences which are difficult to read. I find it really helpful to check the readability of something at a glance.

Hi Saurav, I agree with the other poster who mentioned the gradient colour of the text, I also didn’t like that. Also I’d recommend running your copy through an editor like hemingwayapp.com as there are some spelling errors (30 minute consultaion), and some very long sentences. As a business owner I liked seeing the testimonials, but I wonder if there’s a different way of displaying these as they were a little…

I copy/paste my writing into Hemingway (which completely F*cks the formatting, BTW). After I go over its recommendations, I then copy/paste that text into ProWritingAid and let it tell me when I’ve used em-dashes wrong, etc.
