I don’t have a linux machine handy but I wonder if this can run the excellent Lintalist[0]. I use it daily in my support work and I can’t imagine ever getting away from it (also a huge fan of Clipjump[1]) [0]https://lintalist.github.io/.

Check out Lintalist… it’s written in AutoHotKey and is a portable EXE. It might make writing and managing your macros a lot easier.

Not an answer, but perhaps Lintalist can be of interest https://lintalist.github.io/ especially the https://lintalist.github.io/#choice-plugin where you could also “type to filter and select” if you wish. You can ask multiple questions in a snippet which could be tedious and a dedicated Gui you develop yourself would be better.
