Hi, I am trying to build a no code tool workflow tool with blocks and connections between the blocks. Similar to power automate: https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/.

Windows has an option called Power Automate https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/ that allows for, well automating such tasks as manually copying / pasting data https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/getting-started.

Try to use automation to fill it out ( https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/ for example).

What is it that you actually want to achieve? Learning Python should have an overarching goal. Like being a programmer. If you would rather not be a programmer, and you don’t like programming, but you would like to automate certain things on your PC, you might as well download and install https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/ . If you intend to understand, or work with, Big Data or AI, then Python totally is…

I am by no means an expert, but I stumbled on Power Automate a while back for some tedious work I needed to automate and it worked a charm for me. I used the OCR function once to automate a game’s character creator. Wasn’t perfect, but it did work. I downloaded your image and just used the “Extract Text from OCR” and I did get this output:.

I don’t know too much about the plans for Microsoft 365 but my current company and last one I worked for had Microsoft 365 plans for folks and built into it is basic Power Automate access… https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/.

Hi everyone, I got my first job in tech a few months ago as a project coordinator and while most of my tasks are more administrative/non-technical, I did end up working on an assignment that involved learning Microsoft Power Automate and created a functioning workflow (after a lot of Googling and posting Q’s on the MS support forum).

I’ll also add Microsoft’s Power Automate (Assuming you have access to Office 365.) But even if not, fully agree that VBA maybe a better integrated solution that’s going to not run foul of the IT team (speaking as someone who made a courageous move to get Anaconda Python in an approved software list for…. 2 years.) Lots of macro recording options as well, so given a choice for time, this maybe the way forward.

Microsoft Power Automate[0]. This tool scares the hell out of me, as a sysadmin, with end users who have no education re: software engineering (and potentially really wonky mental models about software) developing potentially business-critical tools/processes out of the IT equivalent of “glue and tape”. This is especially scary to me because building on “evergreen” platforms like Office 365 means that critical…

You would have to trigger it from another system like power automate https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/.

Power Automate & IFTTT integrations allow just this, by a process of action and reaction.

If we’re talking about making something really easily for a small data set with minimal programming knowledge and time required, Google Apps Script would probably be a good bet. Similarly, if your organization has Microsoft Office 365 instead of Google Workspace, you might try out their Office Scripts and Power Automate.
