    • Are Exchange Shell skills still valuable?

On-prem exchange is phasing out quickly, but those skills can still be very useful in MS Powershell/PowerApps.

    • Looking for a simple solution.

If you have an Office 365 license (likely if you’re using Excel), Microsoft PowerApps are a decent option for a low code platform. You can create a SQL Server to hold the data and connect it to PowerApps to view/edit the data.

    • Finding the right low-code platform has been very stressful/confusing

PowerApps (obviously) – https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/ – Created by Microsoft, it’s easy to use but can be a bit expensive side. You do get value for your money.

    • The result is very nice.

Glad to see! Are you interested in making this app distributable/collaborative to others in your organization? One possibility could be using Power Apps (https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/) — DM me if you are interested in something like that as well.

    • What tools to use for small in house applications?

Maybe Airtable, PowerApps, or AppSheet would work for you? It sounds like your business folks are already familiar with doing things in Excel so this might nudge you toward more standardized data with APIs for more programatic access.

    • Front end for access database(->sql), 1 table

If you want others to use your database via Web, you need to get somebody to develop a Web app that connects to it. Another option is to re-do the database in something like PowerApps or Zoho Creator.

    • creating a mobile application machine learning (no-code)

This sounds like a great app! One no-code option would be to use Microsoft Power Apps (https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/). You could use AI Builder for an object detection model to perform the recognition for now.
