One thing I’ve found very very useful when I just want to send a short text or a link from PC to phone is to use a QR code generator. I’ve used this so often that I’ve installed a firefox plugin to generate QR codes offline: https://github.com/rugk/offline-qr-code.

On my Linux-/Windows-PC I use firefoxplugin QR & Barcode Generator. The QR-Code-Window shows the current browser URL as QR-Code but you can type in any text that immediately converted to QR-Code.

This project is inspired by the offline-qr-code addon for firefox. Learning flutter was an extremely rewarding experience and I used this learning experience to build something for the community.
