    • [advice] many of you have undiagnosed ADHD. Procrastination is a major symptom.

Go to a separate room away from others and put on some white noise (one site here and another here) or some study music (Lofi hiphop is a popular choice).

    • Tips for someone with Tunnitus?

I open https://rainymood.com in a browser and let it run for a while through some noise-cancelling headphones. Rain seems less artificial to me than white noise and doesn’t get on my nerves.

They go so perfectly together with rainymood, altho right now I wouldn’t even need it since it’s actually raining outside :D.

    • All right guys what remedies do you have for your tinnitus?

I’m the oddball of the bunch. White noise makes it worse for me. Well, it gets better for a minute or two, but if I remove the white noise, it comes back. If I keep the white noise going for > 5 min, the tinnitus gets louder. The only thing that keeps it at bay for me is music, or otherwise, some kind of background noise that isn’t white noise. I find that video game OSTs are perfect to just put on a loop while…

    • TYRELL CORP: Sci-fi Soundtrack & Underscore – Dark, gritty, atmospheric sci-fi underscore inspired by Blade Runner, Mr. Robot, Deus Ex, etc. Work, hack or read sci-fi to this. Playlist built out and arranged by key of song to flow from one song to the next, best if you don’t shuffle.

Mix this with https://asoftmurmur.com/ or https://rainymood.com/ to add a bit of rain/storm/wind noise to deepen the mood.

    • Drugs for aural fullness and roaring?

Guaifenesin. I’ve recommended this a few times now, I’ve been wondering if anyone has tried it and agrees? I used to take it together with Sudafed (Non-Drying Sinus) but I’ve found that it by itself is enough to counter some of the ear pressure. There isn’t much that can be done for tinnitus. Unfortunately. White noise seems to be a common refuge to mask it. https://rainymood.com.

Honestly what got me thru so many assignments was https://rainymood.com/ (idk if im allowed to share links so sorry if its not legal!!!) without any music.
