Let me be another person to mention RamNode.

If it’s for less than 10 days then https://ramnode.com/ could probably be considered.

How DIY can it be? With Ramnode I apparently get 5TB of bandwidth for my $6/month VPS. I went with them for the 325GB of space I get with that.

If you can manage a VPS then I’d recommend ramnode.com. I’ve used them for my personal site since 2012 and there’s been zero downtime or other issues aside from me forgetting my password and them promptly resetting it for me.

So this might be crazy, but ramnode has a 4,000GB machine available for $0.09/hr.

Have a look at RamNode (https://ramnode.com/). I’ve been hosting VPSes with them for years, and they’ve been pretty reliable. They have a $3.50/mo VPS in NYC, and even a $15/yr offering, though it doesn’t have as much bandwidth as you’re looking for. And they have lots of options to scale up based on your needs.

Ramnode starts their lowest tier servers (1cpu/512mb ram) at $3/month.

You might take a look at Ramnode (https://ramnode.com/). I host most of my servers there and have been pretty happy with them. They do VPS hosting and other similar type things. They have a set of plans for KVM VPSes optimized for large storage (scroll to the bottom of the homepage and look for the Massive KVM VPS option).

If cost is your main concern and all you want is to host from home with minimal engagement with infrastructure, the cheapest reputable VPS I can think of offhand that would work as a VPN host is probably from ramnode – they do an openvz 192mib ram single core box for $15/year, never mind per month. You honestly may not be able to get away with a high throughput ovpn line over that restrictive a main memory…

Get a virtual Linux shell. I use ramnode.com, and starts as low as $3/mo. There are some other shell providers around.

They are literally just Linux. Personally I used Ramnode but DigitalOcean is also popular. They each have tutorials which basically create the basic installation for you, then they give you root and you have to take over.

Bitvps seems interesting however they seem to ask for $123/yr for the 512mb server but you can get for $15/yr from ramnode.com which they accept crypto too by the way.

I have a KVM VPS from ramnode.com which has 512 MB of RAM, it’s running wireguard VPN which uses 50% of the RAM. That’s all I really need the VPS for and I’m happy with it as it is. It costs $3 per month.
