    • Moved because the rich are buying everything in sight

I lived in Albuquerque 30+ years ago and it was really nice. Clean, quiet, great public transit, nice people, safe. I’ve heard it’s not so great now. For about 15 years I’ve been checking realtor.com for a place in Santa Fe if I ever when the lottery. I like the Eldorado community.

    • Creative ways to get “free” leads aka. referrals. Any other suggestions?

PS, I know zillow.com and realtor.com leads exist and have had success with those, but those leads can cost 35% which is insane and I’d rather pivot away from them over time.

    • Houses near Merritt Island

I used realtor.com. Realtor.com and trulia.com are updated from the MLS, and Zillow takes a bit longer to update. I have found though that Zillow tends to have better history of the homes.

    • Locals Are Being Priced out of Texas and Florida. Here is where they are moving instead.

These residents are increasingly searching on Realtor.com for homes outside of their state, suggesting they’re willing to chase affordability across the country.

    • Beginner here… Can someone check my math on my “fake” deal?

Looking at realtor.com rental rates it seems best I could do is maybe $1900 if I renovated. And thats best case probably. https://www.realtor.com/apartments/Mesa_AZ/type-single-family-home/beds-3/baths-2/sqft-1250-1500.

    • What methods are you all using in your search for an apartment in San Diego?

Realtor.com is how I found my apartment. Only annoying thing is people listing bedrooms like they’re apartments. Really easy to search using the map and you can search for just your price range.

    • ‘Celebrity’ RE Guru or Fraud

Confirm there aren’t possibly other sales from some other data source outside of realtor.com. Again, I’m not in the RE business, so I don’t know if there’s possibly more out there and he really is ‘strippers and hoes’ rich.

    • On Realtor.com, what is the advantage of using a “coming soon” listing?

Someone else said there is a setting you can turn on where you will get alerts when the status changes but I would bet most people who aren’t like me (OCD about checking listings) don’t know that. Someone else said realtor.com is not a prestigious house hunting website. They may be right, but I didn’t know that. I figured it was one of the most popular search sites. So it’s possible these listings are prepared…

    • On Realtor.com, what is the advantage of using a “coming soon” listing?

I have been looking for a house for a long time, and I absolutely cannot see any reason why realtors use a “coming soon” listing without uploading all the pictures. I try to remember to go back to listings that weren’t uploaded with pics when they “go live” but this seems like a HUGE missed opportunity. I don’t get a “new listing” alert when it goes live, if it’s been previously uploaded as a “coming soon”…

    • Buying in Florida— need advice on property features

On property taxes, my recommendation is to ignore every public field you see. If you see taxes on Zillow, realtor.com, even the MLS search a Realtor will send you… IGNORE IT. IT is useless.

    • Let’s critique the Marquette MI housing market.

Have you ever looked a house for sale post on realtor.com, zillow.com, trulia.com or any other real estate website and thought “I wish they had a comment section”. This is your place to do just that. Post a link to the home that is for sale and comment away, see if other Redditors feel the same way.

    • Small house sells for $1M in Lake Mary. How?

Looking at realtor.com and redfin, neither had it listed for sale. It was listed for rent at one point but that listing was removed. Redfin est is 437K, Realtor has it at 600k. Seminole Tax pages has a Special Warranty deed list at that price.

What marketing? Most agents put the house on MLS which gets sucked up by all the major websites zillow, realtor.com, etc…

    • LPT Request: Buying a House

You can find houses on realtor.com and zillow easily. We worked with three different agents, of the few places they showed us that weren’t already on our list from online listings, zero were at all possibilities. All of them were missing major needs of ours, one was literally next to a dump.

    • Best Platforms for Finding Rental Houses – Seeking Reddit’s Opinion

Hey fellow Redditors, I’m currently in search of a rental house and would love to hear your opinions and recommendations on the best platforms or companies to use. I’ve done some research and found a few options like Zillow, Apartments.com, Realtor.com, Craigslist, and Rent.com. Have any of you had experiences with these platforms? Which one worked best for you in finding a rental house? Did you encounter any…

    • My month-to-month rent just went up $100 unexpectedly, while battling a flea infestation. I’m priced out of east of I65 Louisville (almost entirely)

Check out Beechmont. It’s barely west of I-65 but is a great area. I have two rentals there that each rent out for under $1000/mo, and mine are high for the area because I make sure they’re nice and am very selective in my tenant screening. My point is, you can definitely find a 2 bed/1 bath for under 1000 there. Try realtor.com.
