The cheapest hardware wallet I have found for this is KEEPKEY for $10. I also own ledger and trezor. Keep key software shapeshift web interface is not great. However in combination with ELECTRUM I do like it. I just don’t use their shapeshift.com web interface. There are probably other software wallets it works with as well.

Try using https://shapeshift.com/ Web or Mobile apps, since they have integration with both Thorchain and 0x, you will know what’s availble at the moment through the UI and be prevented from making mistakes by trying to access the DEX directly.

Link says MEMBERS ONLY but you dont have to sign up to buy. You will need shapeshift.com to do inital setup as a wallet but after that you are good to go with Electrum or Wasabi if you choose to use it as a wallet.
