Yup and the things they don’t “invent”, like the status page from status.io, it’s poorly implemented. It took so long to get this basic page up with a complete garbage process.

Also weird given that Twitter is using 3rd-party service which apparently doesn’t even automatically log and post know downtime issues; service being: https://status.io/ (Assuming this is more of a the site’s not down unless the CTO says it is services.).

Only if status.io had some type of automation that could tie into another product like ConnectWise Automate….

Https://status.io is a good solution and pretty flexible for the cost.

Very much possible, most server status services (status.io, etc) let you create webhooks to notify you. You just need to send the request to your Gumball unique URL and boom it turns on! It’s possible with Zapier, integromat, or even directly from your own code (just send an HTTP request to your Gumball URL address).

Just changed the set up 5.8dbi lmr /kmr 200 cable and its now at peek of attic. Still says relayed on the explorer even tho on status.io its “like a pro” and pings and says not relayed.

It would be an external monitoring service that tracks API documentation completeness, versioning, uptime, speed, scalability, and security. Kind of like status.io, but specifically tailored for API products.

Check helium status .io ! Me and a friend have had several issues where everything looks fine but observed IP address(aka public ip address) and api listen address have for some reason changed randomly and dont match, one evening after refreshing helium status.io I was seeing several different ip addresses appear and then suddenly everything matched . If the observed address and the api listen address dont match…

I just checked the magicthegatheringarena.statuspage.io page and it shows they are in maintenance right now. That is why. Not sure why it allowed me to login and open a pack? That shouldn’t happen if there is maintenance.

Only other discrepancy I notice is that on heliumstatus.io my Observed Listen Address (ip4/…./tcp/44158) is different than the API Reported Address (p2p/….). Could this be part of the issue?

I mean why are you guys not creating a service status page? It would be so convenient and would prevent us from panicking. Status.io or similar service like this.

ITG run status.io which hooks into webhooks to update. Those little graphs you see on screen? Yeah, those are automatic. An update might not be posted automatically, but the information is real-time.

Do you think there is room for another Uptime Robot, status.io, or Statuspage of Atlassian. Some of them have steep pricing schemes, limited feature sets, etc.

Now I tried again, thinking the status.io page is all green for Newton, and now its been almost one day again and no response at all.

Interesting…for the life of me I can’t figure out why someone doesn’t start a status.io like service with a wire/monero base. Near perfect anonymous communication, language value communication. No meta data, server logs or record of transactions. Group chat, tips, transactions. I’m on the monero IRC watching and looking for someone who is trying to do this, but I don’t see it.
