Self-Care Apps: I use “Streaks” for habit tracking, it’s my favourite. I use the Headspace app for meditation/sleep stories (I used to use Calm, but my current employer includes Headspace for free in our wellness offerings, so here we are!).

Streaks is not a clicker app but maybe it can do what you want.

Check out Streaks (https://streaksapp.com/). I use it for a lot of my reminders through my watch.

The reason I ask is I have habits set up in Streaks, a habit tracker and facilitator, most of my habits use the action button to launch shortcuts which I have set up to work on my iPhone.

For motivation/habit forming apps, I love Streaks. They have good Apple Watch and Shortcuts integration (say, you could automatically have it check off a workout streak when you start a workout via Shortcuts).

If you have an iPhone, there’s an app called Streaks that can be really helpful for working on building healthy routines and habits. It basically gamifies doing whatever tasks you set up in it. Those tiny little dopamine hits from marking off tasks as complete, building up those habits to score streaks of completing them, and trying to beat your high scores, it can be an excellent motivator.

If you are in the Apple ecosystem, I highly recommend https://streaksapp.com/.

Streaks is awesome if keeping streaks makes you motivated. You can set daily things but you can also set tasks to be completed twice a week for example. It is only available on iOS afaik.

Timers, physical notes left in specific places, digital habit trackers like Streaks, and other people (your significant other, friends, family, etc. ) can all help build those habits.

I’m getting into emacs and org and I really like the look of this app, but my current habit tracks (Streaks) has an Apple Watch app that I use all the time to mark off when I complete a habit.

I use Streaks – can handle automatic timer (start/stop) and distance walked / ran. (https://streaksapp.com/).

Sweet! Your primary competition is probably gonna be Streaks. I use it currently & would not consider switching to anything that doesn’t have a quality Apple Watch app.

Lastly, this is what you asked but I wanted to throw it out there: you may be better off with a habit building app like “Streaks” for this. I love the fact that it makes it a game, gently reminds me stuff needs done, and starts fresh every morning and doesn’t make me feel guilty when I am trying to get other things on my Todoist done.

But if you want a habit forming app with streaks, there’s always Streaks. I’m encouraging OP not muddy their positioning, to focus on the jobs-to-be-done, and make a research-based app if anything.

I started using this app called streaks to help me keep up with habits that I need to do on a very regular basis and I’m competitive enough that keeping up the streak has been very motivating for me! https://streaksapp.com/.

To track your work habits you can use classic pen and paper, a simple Google Sheets, or a paid app like Streaks.

Following my previous thread about making a Flutter Animations course, I have challenged myself to build a Flutter clone of one of the top Health & Fitness apps on the App Store.
