Battle for Wesnoth is talked about a lot among open-source gaming fans, but not enough in the community at large. It’s a turn based tactical RPG that comes with many scenarios that are full games in themselves. Cross platform, moddable, over 200 different unit types… just an amazing game, all completely free. You can get it on Steam, itch.io, or at https://wesnoth.org and you really, really should.
