Install Transmission on Mac or Deluge on Win.

Optional: run a VPN if you’re in the US(mostly) and worried about your ISP sending you a cease-and-desist notice.

Open the file using the app you installed.

Wait. It should start within a minute or two and download progress will be seen. Speed depends on how many people are sharing it.

Get a VPN like Windscribe(set windscribe firewall to on instead of auto), forward your port via their website. Use a good torrent client like https://transmissionbt.com/ set that port in the options, and add a blocklist https://github.com/Naunter/BT_BlockLists/raw/master/bt_blocklists.gz.

(The BitTorrent client is something I don’t use. I do use a ~very old predecessor, uTorrent {v1.6.1}; I think BitTorrent is the current client born of it… Long since bought-out. You should really be using qBitTorrent or even Transmission…

Most of the stuff I’ve seen on there is available through bitorrent. Download Transmission, then download a torrent file for the file you are trying to get. Double-click on it if it doesn’t open automatically, select a download location and send it on its way.

Dont use uTorrent, use something like Deluge, QBittorrent, or Transmission uTorrent is slow and kind of sketchy all of the torrent clients I listed are open source, fast, and not potentially filled with malware.
