Https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/ https://umap.openstreetmap.de/en/ probably more instances out there, you can also host your own.

I haven’t tried but I bet you could also import it into a uMap.

If you prefer not to use proprietary, walled-off services like Strava I recommend
Umap which has some great map editing
Functionality and allows sharing links or even exporting the maps as JSON.

I’m not hosting it myself but I’m using the open-source OSM uMap (https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/) with a custom layer that points to a GeoJSON endpoint on my webserver.

That being said, http://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/ exists. This is a website where one can make a small map, personal or shared with friends who can edit.

Open Street Map iframe of a custom map (https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/) with an external layer that points to an endpoint on my server. The server takes my database of points/labels/etc and serves it in GeoJSON format for OSM to understand and render.

If anyone is also not satisfied with coloring in NUTS regions, maybe check out uMap.

Why not start a solarpunk map without an app?

If you can prove that it’s the designated on-the-ground name, then you can add it back 🙂 – But it seems at least some of you implied it doesn’t exist in that name. If you want to add a marker with that name onto the map even if the name is incorrect you can use https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/.

You could use something like https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/ or https://mymaps.google.com/ to overlay that information into other maps.

uMap might be an option if the data is in a supported format (geojson, csv, gpx, kml, georss).

Just draw on top of an OpenStreetMap background map. E.g. Using https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/. That doesn’t give you tiles, but a shareable map.

Https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/ does exactly that.

If you would be satisfied with a color pointer in the center of the street, perhaps umap would be the easiest approach. French streets are typically less than 1000 meters long, so this might be a good compromise.

If it’s ok it being an online tool, I’ve used https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/ for this sort of thing before.

I like uMap for small projects like this, though it may be tricky to do the filtering on the fly.

If you mean displaying points on a webmap that can become part of a page, I typically use umap.
