I have downloaded the free license vector file from vecteezy.com – Its a roll up banner design, I opened the file in Inkscape and trying to change the color of the banner but the color does not change when I select the element and select a color under “fill and stroke” or when I select from the bottom color swatches. You can download file from below link. Please help.

Vecteezy.com has stuff like this and canva.com also has mobile mockups if you don’t have photoshop to edit the vecteezy templates.

I had forgotten that was the case, and informed them afterwards, and we purchased the official pro license for the vector. However, vecteezy has informed me that the video needs to be re-posted and re-published to match the purchase date of the pro-license….

As for copyright-free images I use pexels.com and vecteezy.com, I usesidebar HTML widget to credit them that way I don’t have to keep attributing to them on every single page/post/image.
