I checked out the link as I host zoom trainings across China and Taiwan since 2017 and have never heard of this. It seems to be legit, and all their download links (https://zoomnow.net/zntw_zoom_download.php?showType=ALL) are linked back to zoom.us anyway. Now alarm bells go buzzing in my head and that site looks very suspicious as I’ve always known the official zoom website to be at zoom.us. Also the copyright date on the page at the bottom hasn’t been updated since 2020, the FAQ page is a wordpress implementation with wordpress clearly indicated in the footer, and the links to desktop client downloads are hosted on google drive. If you are Absolutely curious, there is nothing stopping you from doing a voice call using google meet or zoom. After you create a secure and anonymous email that you are going to dispose of after the call. But I wouldn’t chance it.

Just had a meeting where I tried screensharing this morning using Fedora 38, Wayland, Nvidia Proprietary drivers, and RPM from zoom.us and everyone said my screen was distorted and couldn’t see anything. I’ll try flatpak zoom to see if that fixes it.
